Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

What is Orthopaedic Rehabilitation?

We treat patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions, such as neck pain, rotator cuff tear, frozen shoulder, low back pain, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, hip bursitis, patellofemoral pain, meniscus tear, Achilles tendinitis, and osteoarthritis. Your physical therapist will perform a thorough evaluation in order to find the source of your symptoms and impairments. Your therapist will then create a plan of care, which may consist of manual therapy, exercise, movement re-training, and modalities in order for you to reach your functional goals. Your therapist will perform re-evaluations about every 30 days in order to assess your progress. Based on your progression, your therapist may modify your goals and/or send a progress note to your referring physician. It is vital that you be consistent in attending your sessions and performing your home exercise program in order to see functional improvements.
